Our Difference



Ms. Lucy Mundo founded Essential Resources LLC in 1991 after many successful years working for top companies such as American International Group (AIG), Shearson Lehman, Security Pacific Bank and Wyatt Corp.  In the past 20 years, Ms. Mundo has managed and conducted hundreds of consulting assignments across North America.  She holds a B.S. in Marketing and International Business from New York University (NYU) and a MBA in Corporate Finance from Pace University.

Today, Essential Resources LLC is a company with over 50+ years of combined experience in conducting customized marketing research for many different types of businesses and organizations throughout the United States, Europe and Asia.

At Essential Resources, we work with our clients throughout the entire marketing research process, from initial contact through custom design of the project to the presentation of the results, so that the information our clients receive can be put to use immediately in their decision-making processes.  Essential Resources works within a broad range of industries and our client base includes small, mid-size, large businesses and non-profit organizations.  We use tried and true marketing research methods and customize each study to meet our clients' specific needs.

We Really Get It: According to our clients “we really get it” and fast and we don’t need a lot of detailed information or explanations.  We understand that our clients are not interested in marketing research for the sake of marketing research.  Clients conduct marketing research because they need targeted information in order to make a very specific business decision.  In the design of a study and analysis of the findings we constantly ask ourselves “how does this help our client make a more informed business decision” so they can move forward with confidence.

Marketing Expertise: Most of our clients are business-to-business companies.  We have worked with many different companies in a wide range of industries including: manufacturing, heavy duty industrial equipment, chemicals/plastics, hospitality, real estate, pharmaceutical, life sciences, and injection molding just to name a few.  As a result, we understand the context for most sales and marketing decisions and how management conceptualizes issues when making important business decisions.  We are able to put the insights gathered from the project into context so that your company can make the right business decision.

Flexibility In Project Scope: Many of our clients are mid to large-sized corporations.  We understand that budgets are tight and that many firms don’ have the resources they need to conduct the scope of marketing research they would like to.  We listen to our clients and help them prioritize their needs, then design programs that will answer their most pressing questions while recognizing time and budget constraints.

Dedicated Project Teams: Essential Resources provides a dedicated project team to each project.  The same individuals who work with you to scope out the project remain engaged throughout the entire project; there is no hand-off and we don’t subcontract out any of the work to another vendor.
